The Bitdeer SealMiner DL1 Air is an air-cooled Scrypt miner announced in March 2026, rated at 25 Gh/s and about 3,725 W — an efficiency of 149 J/Gh, the same as the hydro DL1. It merge-mines Litecoin and Dogecoin.
The DL1 Air matches its hydro sibling's 149 J/Gh efficiency while needing nothing more than airflow and power, which makes leading-edge Scrypt efficiency accessible to sites that will never build a coolant loop.
At about 3.7 kW per unit it also fits far more circuit designs than the 7.8 kW hydro model, so operators can scale Scrypt capacity in smaller, cheaper increments.

Scrypt coins: Litecoin and Dogecoin via merge mining, plus Bellscoin, Junkcoin, Luckycoin and Pepecoin.
For smaller operations, merge mining is particularly useful because it spreads reward variance across multiple chains without additional hardware.
The Bitdeer SealMiner DL1 Air is rated at approximately 3725 W at the wall. Electricity is usually the largest recurring cost of running it, so estimate the draw at your own rate before committing to a deployment.
Based on a rated draw of 3725 W at 100% uptime: power in kW × 24 × your rate. Real consumption varies with firmware, ambient conditions and uptime.
The Bitdeer SealMiner DL1 Air is air-cooled. It pulls cool air in one end and exhausts hot air out the other, so a deployment needs strict hot-aisle / cold-aisle separation, sufficient CFM per unit, and filtration to keep dust off the hashboards.
Air-cooled units are the simplest to install — no plumbing, no fluid — which makes them the practical choice for smaller sites, pilot deployments and containers that already have fan-wall ventilation. Keep intake temperatures within the manufacturer's operating range to avoid thermal throttling.
The trade-off is noise and density. Expect industrial noise levels at full load, which rules out residential and most office environments, and expect lower hashrate per square metre than an equivalent hydro or immersion setup.
149 J/Gh with no pumps, coolant or leak detection.
About 3.7 kW fits standard circuits and allows incremental scaling.
Install with airflow and power only — useful for pilots and hosted slots.

Efficiency (joules per unit of hashrate) determines how long a machine stays profitable as network difficulty rises, while total power draw determines what electrical and cooling infrastructure you need per unit. A more efficient miner is not automatically the better purchase — price per terahash, availability and the cost of the cooling infrastructure it demands all feed into the decision.
If you are weighing two of these models against each other, send us your electricity rate, target quantity and site cooling type and we will model the comparison against real availability and pricing.
Pricing for the Bitdeer SealMiner DL1 Air can vary depending on quantity, availability, market conditions and fulfillment requirements. MinersDeals provides individual and volume quotes for qualified buyers, so we publish current pricing on request rather than as a fixed list price.

25 Gh/s at approximately 3,725 W, an efficiency of 149 J/Gh.
Yes — Bitdeer rates both at 149 J/Gh. The hydro model simply delivers more hashrate per unit.
